She was two times prize-winner at the international Schubert-competition in Dortmund, won second prize at the Viennese Boesendorfer-competition, and first prize at the Gedok-competition/Hamburg with a following Germany-tour.
Since then she frequently appeared as a soloist, as a chamber musician, as a vocal accompanist and she recorded for the radio and for CD (Universal-Records, de Plain vent, and others). She devoted herself mainly to vocal accompaniment, she attended interpretation classes with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, she was piano accompanist in Walter Berry´s class and she co-operates with well-known singers.
Sibylla Joedicke, born at Schloss Hamborn/Germany, started piano lessons at the age of 7 with Prof. Kurt Seibert at the Hamburg conservatory and – besides her regular school – studied piano at the age of 16 at the Hochschule der Künste/Bremen. She made her debut with Liszt´s first piano concerto at the age of 17 and completed her studies with Hans Graf at the Viennese Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst. Further artistic inspiration was obtained in particular with Elisabeth Leonskaja and in master classes with Vitalij Margulis and Hans Leygraf.
